Prize Distribution Day for Class III, IV & V was held on 20th November and Mr. Ganesh Kumar Shetty, (A.S., M.A. Economics, Lecturer, PU College, Kota) was the Chief Guest.
Sports and games are an integral part of the curriculum. As such, a wide variety of sports facilities have been developed over the years. Students are encouraged to participate in various games such as volley ball, basket ball, soccer, handball, badminton and kho-kho.
Art and craft have an important role in promoting the creativity of the students.They help in giving an expression to the latent talents of the pupils.Hence they are encouraged to be involved in hobbies such as drawing, craft, western music, drama, yakshagana etc.
School Parliament has been created with a sole intention of fostering the democratic spirit among the students. School’s head boy and head girl are appointed through election. Ministers for different subjects are nominated. Parliament sessions are convened to discuss various issues such as discipline, maintenance of campus cleanliness, and all the literary & cultural activities.
The Clubs and associations of the school provides the students to bring out their talents and to foster their interests. The clubs encourage the development of the co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the student community so as to make education much more meaningful. The N.C.C, Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls are of the prominent organizations. Music and Yoga is a regular feature of our school.
There are 35 buses which provide an efficient transport facility to cater to the needs of students living in a 30 km radius in all directions.
The school canteen serves hygienic and nutritious mid-day meal to the students. Kindergarten children are served with milk and biscuits twice a day.
1. The School has enrolled itself as a member of the State government’s Arogya Chaitanya Scheme which covers all the students from Class 1 to 10. Students can avail free medical facilities including free surgery for major diseases as the need arises.
2. The Group Insurance facility is also provided to cover risks.
3. A Medical Relief Fund too has been created with the help of generous parents.
All commonly used software as well as many special subject software & educational multimedia CD’s installed to cater to students academic requirements.
The school has two spacious libraries catering to the needs of the lower and the upper classes with 15,937 volumes of books on a variety of subjects. The libraries have been providing an enabling environment to experience the joy of reading.
We have developed five labs and it includes physics, chemistry & biology, Maths lab, computer lab and Language lab.
