Hope you are all fine and in good health.
We are at the threshold of the new academic year 2020-21. But all the stakeholders are perplexed about the schooling of the children as all of us are passing through an unprecedented situation on account of Covid-19 pandemic. As the safety of the children is very important we cannot start the classes till we get government directives.
As an alternative to regular classes we have planned to start online classes to all the students in a phased manner. We definitely take care that students do not glue to the gadgets all the time, instead they get involved in academic activities with the help of their text books and teachers’ guidelines. Our teachers have been trained for a month to equip with the skills to manage virtual classes. We have already commenced the classes for secondary class students. While the middle school students will have the classes from 15th June. Students need text books and note books to enable their understanding of the content. So we have scheduled the days for book distribution and that will be intimated through SMS.
Regarding Fee Payment:
Academic year 2019-20 (last year) – Covid crisis has impacted the economy of the people in a negative way. We empathize and understand the parents who delayed the full payment of school fee. At the same time, we appreciate those who have made full payment for last year (2019-20). However we are happy to share that our management has paid full salaries to all the staff inspite of financial crisis.
Regarding 2020-21(new academic year):
This year management has decided to hike the school fee as it was not done for the past two years. But considering the present crisis, management has decided not to implement the raise and to retain last year’s fee structure.
Apart from this, our management has expressed its concern by taking another step of collecting only a minimum amount while distributing the books and taking rest of the amount later. No extra fee will be charged for online teaching. Once you get the information about the fee amount, you are requested to pay the same at Canara Bank – e Syndicate and produce the chalan/ slip/ receipt at the school office while collecting books. Kindly bring last years’ chalans which may be necessary for official work.
Motivate the children to participate in ‘virtual classes’ and get benefitted. Ensure that they spend enough time for educational and creative activities in a day. We hope to overcome this crisis soon and get our children back to school.
